You can use the same procedure to set up an EPR if you don't yet have one.
You can find more information about linking the VacMe to the EPR here.
It’s easy to set up an EPR for another person digitally
You have your own EPR and log in with your SwissID to start the process.
Upload the proof of the relationship between you and the person to be represented, along with a digital copy of the ID of the person you are representing (ID does not need to be valid) to verify legal representation.
Post Sanela Health Ltd checks the documents submitted online (duration: 1-2 working days).
You will be notified as soon as the representative's EPR has been set up. You can then log in to your EPR and manage the EPR of the person to be represented.
Have the following ready for setting up the EPR digitally:
Login for your EPR – Your SwissID and at best the SwissID app installed on your smartphone (latest version)
Digital copy of the passport or ID of the person(s) to be represented
Your mobile phone / smartphone
Digital copy of the documents for verifying the legal representative (family register or family certificate, birth certificate, decision on guardianship/support, etc.)
You can set up your EPR entirely digitally anywhere in Switzerland. Setting up an EPR digitally is free of charge in the cantons of Basel-Land, Basel-Stadt, Bern, Lucerne, Nidwalden, Obwalden, Schaffhausen, Schwyz, Solothurn, St. Gallen, Zug and Zurich.
If you already have an EPR with another provider such as emedo, eSANITA, Abilis or CARA, you can easily switch to Sanela at any time:
