Post Sanela Health SA now manages the electronic patient record in the canton of Ticino

As of 1 January 2025, Post Sanela Health SA will take over the management of the reference community for the electronic patient record in the canton of Ticino.

Sanela is already successfully active in 18 Swiss cantons. The aim of this decision by the State Council in agreement with Swiss Post is to promote the dissemination of the electronic patient record and to strengthen the efficiency of the healthcare system in Ticino. The transition process will ensure the continuous improvement of services for both health professionals and the Ticino population. Post Sanela Health SA will officially replace eHTI as of 1 January 2025 and ensure business continuity.
